Robots in Love formed in 2023 with the meeting between vocalist/producer Elenor Rayner and drummer/instrumentalist/producer Alex Burchell, both highly prolific and music-obsessed individuals.
Immediately they realised that the combination of Elenor's emotive darkwave industrial style and Alex's precision, multi-genre musical skills and technical ability could create something innovative and extremely powerful. And it did.
They released a series of singles, remixes and their debut album ACTIVATE! which reached the official Aotearoa Top 20; and played shows in Aotearoa and Australia, gaining a reputation for innovative production and dynamic live shows.
In 2025 they added djent guitarist Henry Flynn Wall and the three set about recording their second album OVERRIDE.
The first single from the album is Convergence.
